There are just 13 days to the 2020 elections and political parties are doing all they can to gather votes in the last few days.
President Akufo-Addo has stated that the policies and programmes implemented by his government, is proof that the New Patriotic Party, NPP has the blue print of development of Ghana in mind.
In a CitiNews report, the president mentioned that the Akufo-Addo-led NPP has a clear understanding of how to put the country onto the path of progress and prosperity.
Nana Addo, however, appealed for four more years to continue with his service on the basis that he had delivered most of his promises.
Akufo-Addo mentioned that for the four more years mantra to become a reality, it would require a solid and dedicated team, who would represent the people in parliament.
He therefore urged all members of the NPP not come out in their numbers to vote massively for the NPP.
In other news, the vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, called on Ghanaians to massively reject the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, in the upcoming general elections.
Speaking at the commissioning of a Nursing Training College at Nkanchina in the Kpandai District of the Northern Region, Bawumia said the former president is woefully incompetent to be the president of Ghana again.
The vice president further stated that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s first term in office outclassed the performance of Mahama and the NDC administration who was in charge of running the affairs of the country for eight years.
Meanwhile, former president Mahama has vowed to ruthlessly fight corruption when he becomes Ghana’s president in January 2021 by implementing to the letter the Special Prosecutor’s recommendations on the Agyapa Royalties deal.
