Tyler Perry showed his selfless generosity once again when he fed thousands of hungry people in Atlanta. Perry is one A-list celebrity who has a true heart of gold.
Atlanta was overflowing with gratitude on Sunday, 22 November when Perry and his team took to the streets to give out food boxes and gift cards to help those in need. This pandemic has hit home hard for many and Perry feels it is his duty to help where he can.
Tyler Perry Studios were able to give 5 000 needy families canned vegetables and $25 gift cards. While it did not solve every family’s struggles, it certainly made a huge impact on those who they were able to help lives.
With Thanksgiving approaching, Perry was glad that he could have given these families something to be thankful for.
“We are excited to announce the #TPSGiving Food Giveaway event on Sunday, November 22nd from 8:00am to 12:00pm. During this drive-up event we will be distributing non-perishable food items and gift cards to people who are in need during this holiday season. See you there!”
Tyler Perry, a 51-year-old entertainer, is an influential personality in the USA's entertainment industry. He is famously known as female character Madea, who is a hilarious and virtuous granny with a bad wig and large stomach.

It was previously reported that Tyler Perry had put his hand in his pocket to help the elderly in his home town of New Orleans, USA. The elderly are super vulnerable right now with the coronavirus pandemic going around and deserve every bit of help that is given to them.
Perry graciously foot the bill for all every single elderly shopper at not just one but multiple grocery stores in his home town.
Perry started on pensioners' Wednesdays with 44 Kroger stores in Atlanta and then branched out to 29 other locations in his hometown of New Orleans – what a phenomenal act of kindness.
