Listening to men in uniform harmoniously sing a Rhumba song is a gift that keeps on giving.

Officers from Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) can do a lot of things and entertaining is definitely at the top of that list.

A music group named Maroon Commandos became a hit when their hit Corona made its way to Facebook.

The smartly dressed men who always stun in their green camouflage fatigues and blue matching berets came up with a jig that reminded people to sanitise.

Unlike some of the flat, so-so songs produced to raise awareness on COVID-19, this one actually had a kick to it.

It served two masters: education and entertainment. Whew!

As people jotted down what they needed to do to keep the virus at bay, they slowly stumped their feet on the ground and nodded as the tuneful strain took them to cloud nine.

It was like listening to Papa Wemba and Koffi Olomide chanting about the pandemic.

I mean, who would not want that ringing in their ears.

Fans of the Maroon Commandos shared the video on social media and the reception was overwhelming.

The two collaborated on new song Waah that has gathered over a million views in less than a day.
