Gabby Otchere-Darko, a leading member of the NPP, and Akufo-Addo’s nephew, has said that the NPP will struggle to win more parliamentary seats in the coming December 7, 2020, election.
He said it would be difficult for some of the NPP MP’s to retain their seats or snatch seats from the NDC.
Nevertheless, Gabby believes that the presidential seat is nonnegotiable as President Akufo-Addo will win that easily.

He, however, called on party members and supporters not to be nervous but rather go all out and vote for Akufo-Addo and the NPP MPs.
It is not clear how Gabby came about this conclusion. Therefore, Ghanaians will have to wait for the few days remaining to witness how the election will go.
Meanwhile, a fresh poll purported to be conducted by the University of Ghana has it that Akufo-Addo will win the 2020 election by 51.7%, while Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and the other presidential candidates share the remaining mark.
In that report by YEN.com.gh, it was revealed that about 80% of those who participated in the survey said they will vote on campaign promises.
Earlier, we published some fulfilled promises of Akufo-Addo that show that he may easily win the 2020 polls.
In a related development, many celebrities, including Samini, Sarkodie, Prince David Osei, Agya Koo, Waakye, have publicly endorse Akufo-Addo and the NPP.
Samini, for instance, went ahead to release campaign song for the party and has called on Ghanaians to vote massively for Akufo-Addo.
Samini has also opened up on how the NPP’s free SHS policy has relieved him of financial burden.
