On August 28, 2020, the world lost a hero who played the role of a mentor both on and off-screen. The hero was Chadwick Boseman.

He died at 43 just a few months shy of his 44th birthday but his friends and fans vowed to celebrate him even at his death.
Lupita Nyong’o, who acted beside Chadwick on Black Panther, is one of the people who choose to keep the late actor’s memory alive.
She lacked the words to express her sorrow when the late Wakanda King’s birthday reached on Sunday, November 29.
All she could manage to do was post a past photo of herself standing next to the fallen legend both on Facebook and Instagram.
But Lupita’s silence spoke volumes and people got her message even when she could not muster the courage to verbalise it.
It was both sad and poetic all at once. Sad because the actress craved to sing happy birthday to her friend once more.
Poetic because his memory will forever be alive in the people whose lives he touched.
When the Queen of Katwe’s fans saw her post, they burst into tears and tried their best to comfort her. It was tough but they knew the sun would shine on her again…one day.
Chadwick died after a two-year battle with colon cancer.
His death was announced by his family through separate posts on social media.
The world was plunged into mourning and people pulled up past videos of the actor’s acts of kindness.
Kids, the elderly and other fans across the globe tried to come up with creative ways to pay tribute to the late Wakanda king.
Till date, Chadwick’s fans still feel unsettled about his demise and the fact that he worked despite undergoing treatment during his battle with cancer.
