Bridget Bonnie, an amazing young Ghanaian lady who was the very first female students' representative council president at the Wisconsin International University has graduated.

In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on Bridget's handle on LinkedIn, the brilliant lady confirms she graduated from the university with a second-class upper degree.

According to Bridget, she had told herself she will get first-class to combine with her heavy duties as an SRC president and although that did not exactly materialize, she is proud of what she has done.

"I told myself I was going to become SRC President and graduate with a First Class. I was told no female has occupied the SRC President position since the inception of the university but I was determined. It wasn't an easy journey but the Lord saw me through," she said.

Bridget Bonnie won the Best SRC President at the UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards that was held in the year 2019.

To sum of the short statement regarding her brilliant achievement, Bridget quoted the NDC's running mate Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, saying:

"Making history is gratifying, but what really matters is not to be first through the door. What matters is to hold the door open for those behind us and create other avenues for self-actualization for many more."
