WASSCE 2020: 3 brilliant but needy students get full scholarship for Kingdom FM CEO

- The CEO of Kingdom FM has shown his benevolence to some 3 brilliant but needy SHS graduates

- He has offered all three full scholarships to continue their education to the tertiary level

- Many students who have passed the 2020 WASSCE are finding it difficult to get helpers to finance their tertiary education due to their poor background

Some three SHS graduates have received full scholarships from the CEO of Kingdom Herbal and Unique Kingdom Communication Limited, Jonathan Kwame Amofa.

The students are John Dankwah , 20 of Adeiso Senior High School, Irene Adobea Amanfu,l 17, of Oti Boateng Senior High School and Michael Okwan, 23, of Assin Manso Senior High School.

Both John and Irene scored Aggregate 08 in the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) with Michael scoring Aggregate 11.

In an interview with Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Kingdom FM, the fresh SHS graduates recounted how they managed to scale all the obstacles to graduate with flying colors despite their backgrounds.

John and Irene went on to beg for help to pursue a degree in Mathematical Science and Nursing respectively at the University of Ghana.

Michael Okwan who hails from Assin Sibinso in the Central Region studied General Arts at the Senior high level.

In responding to their request, the Chief Executive Officer of Kingdom Herbal and Unique Kingdom Communication Limited, Jonathan Kwame Amofa, offered to grant full scholarship to the three intelligent students.

To prove his willingness to support the students, they were made to buy forms to apply to their university of choice, University of Ghana, Legon.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Thomas Amoani also received a full scholarship from the CEO of Kingdom Herbal and Unique Kingdom Communication Limited, Jonathan Kwame Amofa.

The 18-year-old smart and intelligent boy who attended Adeiso Presbyterian Senior High School passed the 2020 West African Certificate examination with flying colours.

Master Amoani scored straight 8A’s in all the core and elective subjects he sat for including English Langauge, Core Mathematics, Social Studies, Integrated Science, Economics, Geography, Elective Mathematics and Government.
