First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, has called on Ghanaians to vote massively for the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in the December 7 presidential poll.
In an adoring appeal to electorates, Rebecca expressed confidence in the future of Ghana under the stewardship of her husband.
According to her, Akufo-Addo had shown since taking oath office “the clearest vision” about the West African country.
The first lady call comes five days to the day of voting and a day after the scramble for the Jubilee House began with special voting.
At least 109,557 persons took part in the exercise held at 311 centres across the country on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

Pitching her husband to Ghanaians, the first lady, argued that Akufo-Addo’s faith in the goodness and potential of Ghana is firm and neither “quavers in despair nor shirks responsibility even if it feels convenient.”
“I urge you once again to be our voice on the 7th of December and we will be yours for the next four years as we work together to move Ghana towards her manifest destiny,” the first lady noted.
Meanwhile, a recent poll published on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, said Akufo-Addo would beat the presidential candidate of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama, in the presidential race.
According to the president would garner 56.6 percent of the valid votes cast while Mahama would manage 38.8 percent.
An earlier poll by the political science department of the University of Ghana also called the presidential race for Akufo-Addo.
