Former TV3 newcaster, Bridget Otoo has expressed her dissatisfaction with the way some Ghanaian celebrities are campaigning against John Dumelo.
Dumelo will be contesting for the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Ahead of the general election on Monday, December 7, 2020, Bridget has pledged her full support for Dumelo taking a swipe at actors campaigning against their own.
In a post on Facebook, Bridget said actors who campaign against Dumelo are just telling voters that, they (actors) shouldn’t be considered in serious services for the nation because they can’t be trusted.
“If you are an actor campaigning in Ayawaso against John Dumelo, it isn’t such a smart move, you’re indirectly telling voters not to consider people like yourself cos you’re not built for serious works,” Bridget wrote on Facebook.
The award-winning presenter added that irrespective of their political choices it was wrong for them to campaign against Dumelo at his constituency because he is going to represent them at Parliament.
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported how Kalybos, Bibi Bright, and Bismark the Joke, hit the road to campaign for Akufo-Addo and the NPP ahead of the 2020 General Elections.
They were seen clad in NPP T-shirt with fliers in their hands massively campaigning for the NPP against their own colleague, Dumelo, who is contesting on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in that constituency.
In a group photo seen by YEN.com.gh, the two posed with Maa Lydia Alhassan, the NPP contestant of that constituency.
Though Kayblos actively engaged in the activity, it appears Bismark the Joke was not very comfortable like the others and was hiding his face.
