Election 2020: It will end in tears for you - Ghanaians tell Mahama

In exactly three days, Ghanaians will go to the polls to elect a leader, as well as parliamentary representatives for the various constituencies.

John Dramani Mahama, the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, is optimistic that Ghana as a whole will give the NDC, 60 percent of the seats in Parliament come December 7, 2020.

Mahama gave the assurance at a rally in Yendi of Northern Region as part of his tour of Northern Region.

Looking at the fact that the NDC currently have a minority number in parliament, his comments have triggered several reactions from Ghanaians.

Below are some of the reactions from Ghanaians who do not agree with his estimation of win.

Joana gave him the encouragement but was quick to say it will end in tears.

Edem said even John Dumelo who is contesting in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency will loose the seat to the incumbent, Lydia Seyram Alhassan.

Yawsaid it was good to dream big but a ream without proper planning was just a wishful thought.

Ivan has a rather interesting question to ask. He questioned if the NDC flagbearer was canvassing for parliamentary seats or the highest office of the land.

In other news, the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama says the corruption under the Akufo-Addo-led government is so big that it has grown wings and is now flying.

According to Mahama, corruption under Akufo-Addo has become so normal that it is no longer news for government appointees to be involved in scandals.

In a report filed by Pulse.com, he said despite the consistent tagging of his administration as corrupt, none of the appointees in his administration were ever convicted or charged with the vice.
