A number of top celebs have gotten themselves actively involved in the campaign of actor-turned-politicain, John Dumelo to help him win the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat.

In new photos sighted by, the celebs, primarily made up of actors, were seen on the streets of the constituency canvassing for votes for their colleague, John Dumelo.

Among the many popular faces that were spotted on John Dumelo's campaign trail included Kofi Adjorlolo, James Gardiner, Fred Nuamah.

John Dumelo's wife, Gifty, was seen busily campaigning her husband in a bid to get him elected into office as the NDC MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon.

The actors who went to John Dumelo's aid were seen dressed in NDC and John Dumelo-branded attire as they walked the streets to seek votes for the actor-turned-politician.

This move follows a similar one which saw colleague actors of John Dumelo campaigning for the incumbent MP for the area, Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan popularly known as Maa Lydia.

The likes of Kalybos, Bismark The Joke, Prince David Osei, Bibi Bright and Jessica Williams were seen on the campaign trail of Maa Lydia.

In light of this, a huge debate was sparked on social media about colleagues supporting each other instead of standing on opposite political divides.

In another election-related news, earlier reported that a gentleman has climbed to the top of a mast with the vow of awaiting the declaration of Akufo-Addo as the winner of the December 7 elections before he comes down.

In a report sighted by on Starrfmonline, it is said that the man was determined to remain up there until the Electoral Commission declares the results.

The incident is happening at Ayoma in the Asenua community of the Kwabere East municipality.
