Star actress Jackie has refurbished parts of the children's ward at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
The actress renovated the pat of the ward designated for children suffering from sickle cell related diseases.

She handed the renovated ward to the hospital as part of activities in celebration of her birthday.
Apart from the renovation of the ward, also refurbished it with many items including beds, fridges, among others. Jackie Appiah also held a party with the children with sickle cell on admission.

The newly refurbished ward has been named Jackie's Corner in honour of the actress.
Prior to the donation and party at Korle-Bu, the celebrated screen goddess had taken to social media to celebrate her special day with stunning photos.
The photos had Jackie showing off her usual stylish fashion sense in beautiful dresses and looks.
Friends and admirers of the prominent entertainer shared their best wishes to celebrate her.
