Odododiodio constituency in the Greater Accra region is considered one of the hotspots or flash points due to the constant happenings from the constitution.
News reaching YEN.com.gh indicates that pandemonium broke at the City Engineers polling station in the Odododiodoo Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.
This was after some voters forcefully budged into the centre despite the presence of security officers.
According to a citinews report, the voters who had formed a long queue in front of the main entrance to the centre forced themselves into the polling station.
Security officers had a difficult time controlling the crowd as they were overpowered by the impatient voters.
Electoral officials supervising the process were also helpless in calming the crowd.
However, after forcibly getting to the station, some voters engaged in fisticuffs as they were unable to rearrange themselves into the queues they had already formed outside the main entrance.
According to the residents present, the EC and security officers were maneuvering the process by allowing persons who had not joined the queue into the premises to cast their votes
YEN.com.gh earlier reported some NPP and NDC supporters in the Odododiodoo Constituency in Jamestown, Accra, have involved themselves in a clash on the morning on Sunday, October 25, 2020.
Those involved in the clash have reportedly attacked each other with stones, bottles, and other sharp objects leaving many wounded as a result.
The incident reportedly happened at a popular junction called One Way on the Atta Mills High Street in the morning, suspected to have been triggered by an earlier feud between some members of the two biggest Ghanaian political parties.
