The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, John Dramani Mahama has cast his vote at Bole in the Upper East region.
After casting his votes, he was surrounded by some residents at the centre, chanting and cheering the 'Mahama afa' mantra, indicating he had won the polls in advance.
Speaking to the media after casting his votes, he noted how effective the COVID-19 protocols put in place were.

He however, called on the good people of Ghana, to come out in their numbers to exercise their franchise.
The former president is seeking to be elected again after failing to get 50 plus one percent votes in 2016.
In a video spotted by YEN.com.gh, the former president was spotted clad in a white outfit in the company of his daughter, Farida going to cast his votes.
