Charles Asante Yeboah, an ill bedridden hospital patient has moved heaven and earth to be able to exercise his franchise in the ongoing 2020 general election.

According to reports sighted by YEN.com.gh on Kasapafmonline, the man has been on admission at the International Maritime Hospital in Tema.

He however was not going to allow his present state to stop him from voting and got his handlers to get him to his polling station.

With the support of health officials, Charles Asante Yeboah cast his ballot at the Community 7 Datus Polling Station.

The voter who did not want his ill health to prevent him from exercising his voting right was assisted by the health officials and Electoral Commission officers upon arrival.

The delighted voter has since returned back to his hospital after his wish has been fulfilled.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that some sort of mixup has rocked the election process in Bole Bamboi where ex-president John Dramani Mahama cast his vote today, Monday, December 7, 2020.

There was some slight issue at Mahama's polling center in Bole Bamboi where the name of one of the bodyguards of former president Mahama was missing from the voters' register.

The issue happened at the same time when ex-president John Mahama arrived at the polling station and was cleared to exercise his franchise.
