- Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings has retained her seat as the MP for Korle Klottey constituency
- She polled over 8,000 more votes than her closest opponent who contested on NPP's ticket
- Earlier, Dr Agyeman-Rawlings was alleging that there was an issue of multiple voting
The incumbent Member of Parliament of Korle Klottey NDC’s Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings has managed to win the parliamentary seat in the 2020 parliamentary elections.
Reports coming in from the collation center has it that the daughter of late former president JJ Rawlings polled 39,193 votes to retain the seat.
She beat her closest contender, New Patriotic Party's Prince Appiah Debrah who managed some 31,239 votes.
As things stand, the National Democratic Congress would retain the seat and it would be Dr Agyeman-Rawlings's second run in parliament.
Not long ago YEN.com.gh reported that Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings was alleging that a presiding officer in her constituency had been engaged in what she called multiple voting.
She granted an interview to Joy News and made the allegation. The legislator however went on to call on authorities to do the right thing.
