Jamie Foxx took to social media recently to open up about the pain his family has endured after his sister's death. The Hollywood actor took to Instagram on Monday, 7 December and shared a snap of his younger sister Deidra Dixon along with a touching message.

In the lengthy post, the superstar reflected on the difficulties his family has experienced amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Jamie and Deidra's sis Deondra Dixon passed away on 19 October. She was 36 years old at the time.

Jamie gave a "beautiful" shout-out to Deidra for taking care of their family during their difficult times. The Law Abiding Citizen actor shared that they have been hit with "unimaginable hardships" during this pandemic but Deidra has kept them together with her "love and wisdom".

"The pain has been excruciating for all of us… But she has held us together with her love and her wisdom… When I say I love her to the moon and back it’s not enough."

According to eonline, Deidra is a hair stylist who has worked on high-profile Hollywood productions such as Da 5 Bloods and Avengers: Endgame. She has also worked on a number of his films including Baby Driver and Django Unchained.
