2020 polls: The next gov't is NPP and there would be no run-off - Gabby Otchere Darko

- Gabby Otchere-Darko has dropped his own projection of the outcome of the 2020 polls

- According to him, an NPP preside not would form the next government and select the next speaker of parliament

- The Electoral Commission is preparing to declare the final results of the presidential election

Gabby Otchere-Darko has taken to his social media handle to indicate that the next Ghanaian government would be formed by the New Patriotic Party.

In a post sighted on the Facebook page of Mr Otchere-Darko, he opined that the next Speaker of Parliament would be selected by an NPP government.

He added that the 2020 presidential election would not go into a second round as a winner has already emerged.

Gabby said added that his projection was coming from certified results from the polling stations which he was privy to.

His post read: "My projection: NPP will decide on the next Speaker of Parliament and First Deputy Speaker. An NPP President will form the next government and there shall be no run-off. So says the certified data from the polling stations."

Many sympathizers of the NPP took to the comment section to react to the statement.

Nana Adwoa Agyeiwaa came in with the comment: "Thank you Sir. Still 4more and beyond to do more"

Barnes Peprah-Success also commented: "thanks sir, I hope My President is doing well"

Mivelyn Joycelyn Aboagye wrote: "We still need to work hard to save 2024 MP's work hard to save us 2024 Ghanaians thank you for keeping NPP".

With the EC yet to declare the final election result, both the NPP and NDC have projected the election in their favours.
