Titus Nii Kwertei Glover, the incumbent NPP MP for Tema East Constituency, has woefully lost the seat to Nii Ashai Odamtten, of the NDC.
Titus could not secure reelection in the 2020 Elections as he has been shown the exit by his constituents.
Certified results made available to YEN.com.gh from the Tema East Collation Centre shows that Odamtten won the seat with a whopping sum of 41,663 against losing Titus who polled 32,320 votes – a wide margin of 9,343 vote difference.
Titus, according to some of the constituents who spoke with YEN.com.gh, has performed poorly as the MP over the eight years he had held that seat.
He is among the 17 other NPP MPs who have lost their seats to their contenders in the NDC.
Provisional results available so far shows that Mahama and Akufo-Addo are so close in the polls.
EC has announced earlier that it will declare the results by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, however, the declaration has been postponed.
