This all-important spiritual activity was carried out on the midnight of December 8, 2020, when Jean Mensah addressed the press on when to expect official declaration from the EC.
The event preceded and concluded with prayers saw Jean indicate that the result will be declared later and the day and apologize for the delay thus far.
As YEN.com.gh earlier reported, the chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana, Jean Mensah, addressed the press regarding when to expect the declaration of the results.
In an official press address in the midnight of December 8, Jean Mensah indicated that the results will likely be declared later in the day on December 9.
According to her, the process was delayed by unexpected rainfall and other minor issues around the country but 14 out of 16 regional results have been successfully collated.
Meanwhile, photos that are fast going viral on social media show former president John Dramani Mahama monitoring closely his chances of winning Ghana's 2020 December elections.
