The minority leader of Ghana's seventh parliament, Haruna Iddrisu has underscored the need for the Electoral commissioner Jean Mensah, to declare the 2020 presidential results with details.

According to him, in declaring the presidential results from the just ended 2020 general elections, the EC must endeavor to mention the details from all the over 33,000 polling stations.
He added that, the codes from each of the polling stations need to be mentioned to authenticate the results being mentioned.
He added that, the pink sheet the have clearly indicates that they have won in certain polling centres but the collated figures do not give a correct representation of that.
Haruna Iddrisu said the NDC will not accept any other thing aside the figures that they have presented on their pink sheet.
Hundreds of NDC supporters besiege EC headquarters ahead of declaration; demand Mahama to be declared winner
Meanwhile, hundreds of supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), have massed up at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission (EC) ahead of the declaration of results.
They said they have gone there to ensure that Mahama of the NDC is declared winner of the 2020 polls.
One of the NDC supporters said they were waiting on the EC to make a declaration in favour of their preferred presidential candidate, John Mahama.
According to him, Ghanaians voted for Mahama and they will not look on for the EC to subvert that outcome.
