Meanwhile, Mahama has lost the 2020 Elections to his fiercest political rival, Akufo-Addo of the NPP.
He polled a total of 6,214,889 votes, representing 47.36%, while Akufo-Addo won with 6,730,413 votes, representing 51.59% of total vote cast.
It is clear that this year's election was keenly contested between the two political rivals, as observed by some political analysts.
While he is yet to make an official response to the EC's declaration, Mahama had earlier absented himself from a meeting with the National Peace Council when they called on the leaders of the NDC.
