From there, Edward went to Accra Academy where he studied business, after which he completed Accra Academy in 2012 and went to read Economics with Information Studies at the University of Ghana, Legon.

It was after his mandatory national service as a young UG graduate that Edward was caught in the sad web of being without a job but refused to give up.

For two years, he had to return to his hometown and venture into farming before fully switching to digital marketing and becoming successful at it.

At the 2020 YEA, Edward was also nominated for Blogger of the Year as well as Digital Marketer of the Year.

The entire YEN fraternity celebrates Edward Asare, not just for his hard work at the number one online news website in Ghana, but also for such an inspirational biography.
