Akrobeto consoles Dumelo after losing Ayawaso West Wuogon election to Lydia Alhassan

Comic actor Akrobeto, known in private life as Akwasi Boadi, has consoled colleague actor John Dumelo over his defeat in the 2020 parliamentary election.

Dumelo challenged incumbent MP Lydia Alhassan of the NPP for the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat in the just-ended parliamentary election.

Even though he did not win, Dumelo pulled up an impressive performance losing by a little over 2,000 votes in what is a known NPP stronghold.

Reacting to Dumelo's the outcome of the elections which were held last Monday, December 7, 2020, Akrobeto stated that his colleague's performance was very commendable.

According to Akrobeto, Dumelo's performance has brought dignity to the acting profession and thus deserved congratulations from actors and actresses.

The veteran actor was optimistic that Dumelo will get the ultimate when he works harder in the net elections.

Akrobeto who was speaking on his Real News show on UTV, however, advised Dumelo to stop plaiting women's hair, pounding fufu, or doing any such gestures for votes.

For Akrobeto, Dumelo had done enought and his fan s and supporters should reward him with their voes and not because he did nanything spcial for them.

Meanwhile, John Dumelo's wife, Gifty Dumelo, has rated her husband's performance in the just-ended parliamentary elections at Ayawaso West Wuogon.

According to Gifty, even though her husband could not win, his performance was more than impressive and a challenge to the status quo.

She thus urged Dumelo to be proud of himself and walk with his head high like a king.
