A Nigerian student identified as Ebuka Ian has shown that talents abound in the country after creating what many may not have seen before.

The young man made a jacket, trousers, hat and shoes with plantain.

Ian, who is a 100-level veterinary medicine student, said he got interested in making something creative during the lockdown occasioned by the deadly coronavirus.

He shared some photos of his creativity with Legit.ng, and it wouldn't be out of place to say his works are worthy of commendation.

The medical student lives in Nnewi, Anambra state.

In recent times, Nigerians have been showing the world that the country is home to a lot of creative minds.

It previously reported that a Nigerian seamstress identified on Twitter as @just_oyinda took to social media once again to display the product of her rare sewing skills.

The young lady has earned recognition online for sewing clothes that could be worn in different ways. This time around, @just_oyinda has shared another beautiful dress that can be worn in six different styles.

She captioned the adorable photos she shared on her page:

"I want to take the moment to show this dress I made that can be styled in over 6 ways."

Tweeps took to the comment section of her post to share their thoughts on the beautiful dress.
