Mandy Ofori Sarpong, one of the daughters business mogul Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong, has been called to the Bar.

She was called to the Bar at a short ceremony at a ceremony organised by the General Legal Council (GLC) in Accra.

Mandy was part of 424 new lawyers who were given certification by the GLC on Thursday, December 17, 2020, to begin their law careers.

Mandy's calling to the bar was first announced by Despite Media General Manager Kennedy Osei whose father, Osei Kwame Despite, is like a brother to Mandy's father.

Kennedy Osei took to his Instagram stories to share photos of Mandy in congratulations of her new feat.

The first photo has Mandy dressed in a lawyer's gown and wig and seated in-between her mother and father who stood by her left and right respectively.

In a second photo, Mandy was sen stilled dressed in her gown and standing alone.

For those who may not know, Mandy was one of the bridesmaids when her sister, Cindy, got married to Richard Pepera in October.

In other news, media personality Cookie Tee, known in private life as Shirley Emma Tibila, is no more a presenter with of GH One TV, the flagship TV station of EIB Network.

Cookie Tee has left the EIB Network to join Media General where she will be working at TV3 as a presenter.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that a man said to be working at the Kotoka International Airport has been caught stealing from travellers.
