A section of the Kaneshie Central Market in Accra reportedly caught fire in the late hours of Saturday, December 19, 2020.

The cause of the fire remains unclear, but some traders suspect foul play and have called on the authorities to investigate the circumstances that caused the latest disaster in the market.

3news.com reports that personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) was at the scene to contain the fire. They are yet to establish the cause of the fire.
