Brave man becomes hero after driving bus to safety following a robbery

- A young man has recently received many praises for his act of bravery after he drove commuters to safety

- According to reports, three passengers on the bus began robbing the other passengers causing the driver to flee

- The young man then sprang into action and drove everyone to their respective homes and returned the bus

A brave young Cape Town man, Ashley Europa recently took things into his own hands after commuters were left stranded following a robbery that took place on a Golden Arrow bus in Hanover, Cape Town last week.

According to reports, the commuters were aboard the bus when suddenly three men decided to rob them, starting with the brave 24-year-old. After spotting the commotion, the frightened bus driver fled the scene, leaving the commuters stranded aboard the bus.

This is when the incredibly brave young Europa decided to remedy the situation and get behind the wheel to drive the 30-40 relieved people to their specific destinations around the Cape Town area.

IOL reports that Europa had lied to the passengers by saying that he had prior experience with bus driving, despite having never driven one before in order to help them feel at ease.

According to the article, Europa has since asked the Golden Arrow Bus company to kindly offer him a job and replace the things that were stolen for him since he is the sole breadwinner in his home and also a father of one.

In other heartwarming news, Lesego Tlhomelang took to Facebook and shared his inspiring story in the #ImStaying group. He revealed that his daughter decided to give rather than receive on her birthday.

She that instead of having a party she would collect old clothes that don't fit her and her friends and give them to an orphanage. She captioned the post with the following:

"Today is my Daughter's birthday and she decided that instead of having a party we collect old clothes that don't fit anymore, hers and friends and donate them to an orphanage home #ImStaying."
