21-year-old lady recounts how she lost her leg in crash while selling 'oblayo' at age 11

- A beautiful young Ghanaian lady named Sylvia Nyame has been disabled for 10 years

- It all started with she was 11 and was selling porridge with her mother at the roadside & a car hit her one fateful day

Sylvia Nyame, a 21-year-old Ghanaian has recounted a sad experience she had when she was only 11, that has changed her life for the worse forever.

In a video interview with SV TV sighted by YEN.com.gh, she indicated that at the time, she was simply selling 'oblayo', a type of porridge by the street when she was called by a customer.

According to her, the porridge was actually finished at the time, but out of curiosity, the customer insisted to see the inside of the container.

As she settled to show it to him, a car from nowhere hit her.

"The car lifted me from where I was standing, and crashed me into a wall right in the direction it was heading, causing the wall to fall on my leg and rip it off", she mentioned.

At the time of the accident, Sylvia Nyame narrated that she was in primary six and couldn't continue education after form one in senior high school.

After that, Sylvia learnt how to do make-up but has struggled to establish herself in the industry as she has very limited means.

Meanwhile, as YEN.com.gh previously reported, Ohene Kofi Agyekum, a Ghanaian ex-convict has revealed how spending time in prison caused him to start seeing the need to really respect his wife.

In an interview with Crime Check Foundation monitored by YEN.com.gh, Kofi Agyekum revealed that prior to getting imprisoned, he had little regard for his own better half.

Kofi indicated that he never spent on his wife but rather, he spent on other women, alcohol and friends who never advised him to do the right thing.
