Popular and affable Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown, has been voted for massively as the best actress in 2020.
She was nominated in the YEN Readers’ Choice Awards 2020 alongside actresses Yvonne Nelson, Nadia Buari, and Jackie Appiah.
McBrown got a total of 58.5%, with Nelson following with 19.5%, with Jackie Appiah shockingly polling 12.2%, followed by Nadia Buari with 9.8%.
There were 41 votes in all.

Meanwhile, in other categories of the award scheme, musician Okyeame Kwame and his wife, Anica Apau, were voted for as the best celebrity couple 2020.
Ghanaians explained why the couple is the best so far and why they deserve to win in that category.
Also, McBrown’s daughter, Baby Maxin, emerged as the best most popular celebrity kid.
She contested with Simona Burner, rapper Strongman's daughter, Jidula, Stonebwoy's daughter, and Nana Akua Nhyira, Tracey Boakye's daughter.
Sammy Gyemfi of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has emerged as the best politician of the year.
In other news, popular broadcaster, Serwaa Amihere, has criticised the police for manhandling the NDC MPs who embarked on a protest to the Electoral Commission’s office.
They were sending a petition to the EC when the police heckled them on the way.
