Christmas is the season of giving and making merry over the birth of Christ, just like the three wise men gifted baby Jesus gifts.
In the spirit of Christmas, Member of Parliament for the North Tongu constituency in the Volta Region, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has decided to emulate the act of giving as shown in the bible.
The North Tongu MP chose to fully express his Christmas spirit by giving to persons with disabilities in his constituency to mark the day.
He gave out wheelchairs as part of a Christmas project aimed at replacing all rickety and worn-out wheelchairs of all physically challenged persons in his area.
According to him, the gift will not only help change some lives but reiterates the very essence of Christmas.
His kind gesture as usual has drawn a lot of reaction from his followers.
Below are some of the reactions;
Rashad Mahama believes he is a visionary.
You are visionary.
Eric Mefful said Okudzeto never ceases to amaze him.
Honourable SOA, you never cease to amaze me with the care you show to your constituents. God bless and do have a joyous Christmas.
Abdul Rauf Mobila asked for God to keep blessing him.
Hon Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa may God keep blessings you for being there for your people all the time
Prince Charles said if all MPs were like him, the gap between the rich and poor would have been bridged.
God bless you honourable. If all MPs were like you, we would have bridged the gap between the rich and the poor by now.
Patrick Teye Dasinor praised him for what he did and said ones party does not need to be in power before helping out.
And this is what I keep talking about. You don't need to have your party in power as an MP before you can perform wonders for your people. This is a typical example!
