Parents often silently struggle in life to ensure their children have a better future than they themselves had.
One man recently celebrated his father's hustle as a vegetable vendor at a station in Mabopane.
He took to social media to encourage others to support his dad's stall, where he works during the holidays:
"If ever you’re in Mabopane station, please come support my dad. These veggies helped me obtain my law degree so during the holidays I’m just out here."

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that Manda Roos took to Facebook and shared a touching story in the #ImStaying group about a boy called Joshua who has worked hard the whole year raising money.
He managed to make enough to give 11 pensioners a fantastic Christmas lunch. He not only raised the money but helped to cook and plate the 11 dishes.
The ambitious young man has already started thinking of plans for 2021 but is taking a break to spend time with his family and he wishes everyone a safe and happy Christmas.
