Ghanaian singer Berlinda Nana Ekua, famously known as Mzbel, has shed tears as she recounted a heartbreaking experience with her adopted son, John, as she marked her 41st birthday on December 26.

Although the songstress earlier accentuated a momentous day donning a stunning and high fashion outfit, she was overwhelmed with emotions about her adopted son John.

In a video posted on her Facebook page, Mzbel disclosed that John, whom she adopted at the age of 3, had left her.

According to Mzbel, John’s biological mum came for him, stating that she wanted to silence her critics for shaming her over another woman raising her son.

Mzbel also indicated that John's mum also came for him because she had realised her son has the needed foundation for bright a future.

A visibly pained Mzbel is heard in the video advising young ladies in their early 20s against aborting their babies should they have unplanned pregnancies.
