The Australian High Commissioner to Ghana, Andrew Gregory, has voted Adaklu in the Volta Region of Ghana as the cleanest town in the entire country.

In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on his official Facebook handle, the iconic foreigner indicated that the town was absolutely spotted when he paid a visit.

By way of giving more detail, the high commissioner explained that there was no plastic pollution in sight and the town was extremely calm and peaceful.

In a subsequent post by Andrew Gregory, he explained that although his stay in the Volta Region was really short, it was not short of being really sweet.

In conclusion, he stated that the hospitable natives of the region and the clean green landscape are calling on him to return to the town as quickly as he can.

In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh on the official YouTube channel of Ghanavi TV, it is indicated that respected icon's clean-up exercise formed part of activities to mark September 19 as World Clean Up Day 2020.

Gregory Andrews was reported to have joined the Ghana Wildlife Society, along with over 100 volunteers and other partner sanitation agencies to embark on the exercise.
