He was reportedly speaking via a telephone interview on his Net 2 Television, according to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Ghanaweb.com.

A fearful Agyapong said he quickly made a prayer to God to change the heart of the assassins so that his life and that of the family would be saved.

He is hopeful that he will live and look back on this day by the next year if God grants him victory against those plotting to kill him.

Agyapong, however, despite the prayers, said he has put measures in place to ensure that he and his family are well protected in his house.

He noted that he was not taking the threat lightly at all, and so whatever he must do to ensure maximum protection, he will do it.
