Nana Kojo Butler, a kind-spirited Ghanaian teacher at the Nsadwir M/A Basic School, has reportedly used his teacher's allowance to give his classroom a facelift.

At a time when many around the world are struggling with economic hardships due to the troubling coronavirus pandemic, Butler has become a glittering example of benevolence.

Butler reportedly used his allowance to purchase paint to give his classroom a colourful facelift as schools in the country reopen for studies to commence.

The generous teacher has given his classroom a bright facelift to welcome his pupils and make teaching attractive for them, a post about his kind deed indicates.

He bought paint with the allowance he received and repainted his classroom to make teaching and learning attractive for his pupils.

He's a teacher at Nsadwir M/A Basic School,'' the post read.

Humbling photos accompanying the post on social media show Butler painting the classroom.

Schools in the country were closed since March 15, 2020, as the government rolled out measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

After nine months of closure due to Covid-19, President Akufo-Addo in his 21st address announced the opening of schools for basic schools on January 15.

In other news, UK-born Ghanaian international actress, Adjoa Andoh, is a celebrated doyenne of British theatre who recently played Lady Danbury in the Netflix original series, Bridgerton.
