A gentleman identified on Twitter with the handle @aboladejohn_ has caused a massive stir on social media after indicating that rats in his kitchen ate his saucepan.

According to the post sighted by YEN.com.gh on his personal handle, John said this happened after he travelled for just a month and the rats were overly hungry for food.

Quick checks made by YEN.com.gh around the internet including Toropestny.com show that similar reports have been filed in the past and it has been established that rats are able to feed on metals.

Thousands of people have been commenting and reacting to the eye-popping post since it hit social media.

@francharles_sw6 hilariously said that the post by John is animal brutality and he would like to hear from animal rights activists on the matter.

@BamieCarter who could not believe his eyes upon seeing the post sought to get more clarification from John on the issue while another tweep came along with research to back John.

According to @Irunnia_, if the rats in John's room can eat metals, then sleeping there can cost a man many valuables.

Another interesting report by YEN.com.gh says it has emerged that some patients of COVID-19 who have recovered from the deadly virus are experiencing erectile dysfunction as an aftermath of falling victim to the disease.
