After recovering from the deadly coronavirus disease otherwise known as COVID-19, most men have made various complaints about the disease having an effect on their sexuality.

Erectile Dysfunction has become the order of the day as those who have recovered from the disease have opened up about their current predicament.

54-year-old Kwaku Drah has revealed that after recovering from the coronavirus months ago, he is now left to deal with erectile dysfunction.

Drah was diagnosed with the coronavirus infection last year and got treated successfully.

He however could not tell whether or not his erectile dysfunction is as a result of contracting the virus.

Speaking in an interview on the Community Connect program on 3FM, he sadly told the tale of how difficult it was for him to achieve an erection even as he shared the same bed with his wife

“It is difficult for me to say this on your platform but I will say it. I am not functioning well but I don’t know if that is the cause. I am not having feelings the way I used to be,” he said.

YEN.com.gh in an earlier report, stated that some patients of COVID-19 who have recovered from the deadly virus are experiencing erectile dysfunction as an aftermath of falling victim to the disease.

According to a pulse.com.gh report, Dr Frank Serebour who is the vice-president of the Ghana Medical Association made this disclosure in a radio interview on Abusua FM.

Dr Serebour indicated that reports of sexual weakness have been filed by myriads of recovered COVID-19 patients to physicians all over the country.

He explained that a lot of people who have recovered from the COVID-19 infection are developing other health abnormalities, but there are others who have no other complications.
