Barbie Nubi, founder of the popular public Facebook group Tell it Moms, has lost her mother, Betty Mirable Odonkor, who celebrated her birthday just days ago.

Betty Mirable Odonkor, 61, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021. The cause of her unexpected demise is yet to be known.

Barbie Nubi, who is also the administrated of Tell it All, another public group with a large following on Facebook, has taken to her social media page to break the sad news of her mother's passing.

She shared the post alongside an artwork featuring her late mom's photo, asking loved ones to respect their privacy at this difficult time.

''Mummy, thank you for choosing me,'' Nubi's post read, while the inscription on the artwork read, ''kindly respect the privacy of the family at this time. No visitors are allowed t home. WE will keep you informed.''

Barbie Nubi's mother's passing has sent shock waves across various social media platforms.

Evon Aryee shared her h condolences with Barbie Nubi for her loss.

She writes, ''My condolence. This is too sad. Herr mummy. This woman liked me for no reason. On December 30, she sat me down n we talked. Her advice I will keep dearly. So sorry Barbie Nubi. Your mum was loved. My status and bible quotes on my fon this year were inspired by your mum.''

Evelyn Akoto writes, ''My Baby, my love, God knows best, your best friend is gone, I know it's not easy but God Got You. Be strong, she is with the Lord and I know she will be watching over you in heaven. Be strong dear, it is well. Love you❤️.''

Born Shaida Buari on July 25, 1982, Nubi is a Ghanaian businesswoman, philanthropist, and model. She won the 2002 Miss Ghana beauty pageant and represented Ghana in the Miss World Pageant in 2003.

Barbie Nubi is related to Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari.
