Veteran entertainment broadcaster Andy Dosty recently sacked rapper Okesse 1 from the studio of Hitz FM for being late for an interview.

Okesse 1 of hit song Yie Yie fame was billed to appear on Andy Dosty's Daybreak Hitz on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.

But according to Andy Dosty, Okesse 1 had arrived about 40 minutes after the scheduled time given to him.

On top of that, the presenter felt Okesse 1 was being rude in his response to a question upon his arrival in the studio.

In a video of the incident sighted by YEN.com.gh, Andy Dosty was heard welcoming Okesse 1 to the studio and asking him to confirm his identity.

After that, Andy Dosty asked the rapper if everything was okay but he replied by asking why the presenter was asking him such a question.

This triggered a swift reaction from Andy Dosty who ordered Okesse 1 out of his studio and announced a commercial break.

This happens to be the second time in less than one year that such a case of a presenter sacking a musician from an interview over lateness has occurred.

It will be recalled that in May 2020, Nana Romeo of Accra FM sacked Highlife musician KiDi from his show for similar reasons.

In KiDi's case, he was accused of coming in 25 minutes late and not showing remorse.

In other news, a video giving a good view of Nana Ama McBrown’s mansion has surfaced online for the first time. The sitting area of the glass building alone proves that it is not a small mansion.

In the video seen by YEN.com.gh, McBrown is seen slowly coming out of the main house onto the porch, where she started making some dance moves.

She paced up and down as if to admire the fruit of her hard work. While doing so, Okyeame Kwame’s Yeeko song was being played in the background.
