Veronica Bekoe, the Ghanaian biological scientist who invented the famous Veronica bucket has come up with an improved version that was launched recently.

Information obtained directly by YEN.com.gh indicates that the newly-improved bucket was made purposely to curb further spread of the coronavirus in Ghana and possibly beyond.

As mynewsghana.net confirms, the new hand-washing bucket was made in collaboration with Dext Technology Limited, the makers of the popular Science Set.

It is reported that Veronica Bekoe chanced upon a 10-year-old girl who was using the Science Set and was intrigued to the extent of reaching out to the creators of the ingenious collection of science tools.

She was successful at this and got in touch with Charles Ofori Antipem, the CEO of Dext Technology Limited, and started discussions around making an improved version of the Veronica Bucket.

The new invention, a build-up of the old, was then designed by Dext Technology Limited, with the pedal system that prevents any form of hand contact and therefore significantly reduces any risk of spreading COVID-19.

Meanwhile, a beautiful young lady identified simply as Rosemary A on LinkedIn has risen from a humble beginning to achieve great success that is being admired by all and sundry on social media.

Sharing her story in a post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Rosemary revealed that she hailed from a small village located in the Upper East Region of Ghana with very limited resources.
