A throwback message Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo sent to Eugene Arhin and his wife on their wedding day has popped up on social media amid the latter's divorce rumors.

In the photo sighted by YEN.com.gh on social media, the then leader of the New Patriotic Party in 2013 indicated that he was at the marriage ceremony of Eugene Arhin.

Now President Akufo-Addo then went on to congratulate his now director of communication and prayed for God to bless the marriage.

President Akufo-Addo's message to Eugene Arhin and his wife on their wedding day read: "I am at the wedding of Mr and Mrs Eugene Arhin. Congratulations to both of them and may God richly bless them."

Mr Eugene Arhin who has been the communications director of President Akufo-Addo since Janauary 2017, has been in the news following divorce rumors.

Some court documents alleged to be a divorce filed by his wife have popped up on social media nad have gone viral.

Among many other reliefs, the wife of the presidential staffer is seeking GHC2 million and 50% stake in some monumental properties of her husband.

In reacting to the leaked documents, Eugene Arhin indicated that he had not received any legal documents in relation to the divorce.

He added that should he be served with the divorce suit, he would ensure that his lawyers respond to it with immediate effect.
