Carl Judie, a popular movie actor with Dhar Mann Studios who has starred in countless inspirational and life-changing short movies has passed on.

According to a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on the verified Facebook handle of Dhar Mann, it is indicated that Carl Judie had been in a coma for a long time before the recent bad news hit.

Earlier, Dhar Mann had announced that the actor was not doing so good and his followers should pray for him to come back on set soon.

According to Dhar, this prayer was answered as Carl got out of the coma to see the love and prayers shared for him before going back into it.

"Carl regained consciousness long enough to see his wife over Zoom, for her to sing to him, and for him read some of the hundreds of thousands of comments people left for him all over the world telling him how much he meant to them," Dhar recounts.

Dhar Mann set up a Gofundme for the late actor so that social media users can donate to support his family in these difficult times.

At the time of this report, the target of $50,000 had been exceeded by $3,000 from over 1,000 donors.

In other news, it has emerged that some patients who have been suspected of contracting COVID-19 are being treated in the same ward as others with different ailments at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
