Up-and-coming Afrobeat/dancehall artiste, Lawrencia Abena Lamptey, known professionally as Labena has made an astonishing revelation about herself.

Labena has disclosed that she has both female and male reproductive organs but has no intention of going in for surgery.

Speaking with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, the talented singer noted that she was born this way, proudly owning her uniqueness.

''I don’t feel shy about it and there is no reason to lie either. I was born with it so it's part of who I am.''

She continued: ''All the six guys I dated were not shocked by that. Maybe, when I get married and my husband wants me to remove the male organ then I will,'' she said.

When asked whether she has had sexual relations with a female, she said, ''I don’t remember it happening. Maybe I was drunk don’t recall.

Labena's condition is known as hermaphroditism, which is a condition of having both male and female reproductive organs though not common.

The afrobeat and dancehall artiste has two songs to her credit as she released her first single in 2020 in which she features hiplife artiste Nii Funny.
