The footage sighted by YEN.com.gh on the verified Twitter handle of Ameyaw Debrah was taken at the Manhyia Government Hospital in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, as the voice-over in the footage indicated.

Mothers and their newborn babies are known to be in delicate states of mind and health and therefore require maximum attention, care and comfort to help them get stabilized properly.

It is not clear why the Ghana Medical Association or the Ghana Health Service have not been able to provide good healthcare conditions for all mothers.

It is hoped that the situation will be curbed quickly particularly at places likes the Manhyia Government Hospital in Kumasi which is not a rural area.
