A 62-year-old Ghanaian grandmother whose twin grandchildren have become blind has said she wants to give them her eyes after she was accused of bewitching them.
In an interview with Crime Check Foundation, the woman tearfully narrated that the father of the children abandoned them in her care after they became visually impaired.
The woman named Abena Asanewa lives in Obuasi in the Ashanti Region where she borrowed money from many people to seek medical care for the kids to no avail.

The first one started experiencing eye problems when he was in his sophomore year in junior high school.
By the time he was in SHS, both eyes stopped functioning completely, compelling him to stop schooling and depend on his brother for survival.
The brother, who by this time, started welding to support the family also developed eye problems suddenly and is also blind now.
One of the doctors mentioned that they were suffering from glaucoma but no intervention he made solved any bit of the problem.

They now depend on their grandmother since their father abandoned them following the death of their mother.
The 62-year-old granny is also accused of being a witch and she wishes to give her eyes to the two brothers.
