A young man with the Twitter handle, Nate Blackmon, has celebrated bagging a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the Columbus State University.

In a post on his Twitter handle, Blackmon proudly shares amazing graduation pictures along with the news about his academic feat.

Announcing his achievement in the post, he wrote, ''God made me strong because he knew I wouldn’t quit. Columbus State University.''

Blackmon added that he bagged a Bachelor of Science in Health Science as he shared the bedazzling graduation photos.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ras Aswad Nkrabeah, a father of a teenager with dreadlocks has claimed that his son has been denied admission into Achimota School because of his natural hair.

He disclosed in a post on his Facebook page that his son and one other child were denied admission into the prestigious public school by authorities of the school.

''Fellow comrades and friends, this morning, the school authorities of Achimota School claimed that their rules do not allow students with dreadlocks to be admitted.

In other news, Bernard Gorni, a patient who was saved by the brave action of a nurse at the Ho Municipal Hospital, has honoured the medical practitioner with a citation.

According to Gorni, Gloria Atiayao, a nurse at the Ho Municipal Hospital, refused to administer a drug through injection as directed by the physician assistant (PA) at the medical facility who attended to him and prescribed a drug called Benzylpenicillin.
