Popular social media influencer, Nänä Teä, known in real life as James Annor Tetteh, and his friends, marked Ghana month desilting clogged gutters around the Tema Station in Accra.

Tetteh who is known for undertaking other laudable social good galvanised his team to embark on the cleaning exercise to maintain neglected gutters around Tema Station.

The generous young man's desire to transform society informed his decision to use his little resources to fund the cleaning exercise.

''Ghana month. This is how we are celebrating it. So I broke my Susu box as promised to clean the gutter. Together with my Facebook friends, Kofi Goal, and his team, we cleaned the gutters around the Tema Station near the Ghana Health Service,'' he said on Facebook.

The father of twins has flooded his social media page with inspiring photos from the cleaning exercise, urging his followers to embark on personal projects to mark Ghana month.

''It's Ghana month, so, I and my guys have done our own so you too go do your own in your one corner, and let's build a better Ghana. Together we can.''

Tetteh expressed deep gratitude to the team that supported him by showing up to unclog and maintain gutters around the Tema Station in Accra.

''Thanks to all who supported. My guys and I are late for the #vawulence wedding due to d clean-up exercise, so we are moving straight to Obuasi for the after-party or thanksgiving tomorrow,'' he said.

In other news, Jasmine Turkson, a woman who was found on the street at McCarthy Hills in Accra, has been given a complete makeover by local charity De-Graft Johnson Foundation.
