Asuma Banda's son arrested for breaking into father's mansion at Airport Residential

- Son of Alhaji Asumah Banda has been arrested for breaking into his dad’s house

- Fadel Asumah Banda says he does not understand why his dad doesn’t want to see him

- Police investigations are underway with security intensified at Alhaji’s residence

“I just want to see my father;” son of business manganite – Alhaji Asuma Banda (CEO of Antrak Group of Companies) – Fadel Asuma Banda yelled as he got whisked into the backseat of a police vehicle.

Fadel, together with twenty others, aimed at breaking into the mansion of his father just so he could see him. Media reports allege that Fadel had tried all he can to meet his dad amid the rejections of his step mother.

“The District Commander dispatched personnel to the residence and on arrival; they met about 20 young men under the leadership of the businessman's son Fadel Asuma Banda,” the Accra Regional Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Efia Tenge, told the media.

Meanwhile, investigations are ongoing over the incident with police presence intensified at Alhaji’s Airport mansion. Alhaji Banda has revealed his son breaking into his house was disrespectful and worthy of a police arrest.

Under the constitutionally mandated term limits, Mr. Akufo-Addo cannot run for a third term. Mr. Mahama is reportedly considering whether to run again, but we expect the NDC to seek to revitalize its prospects with a fresh candidate.”
