Abraham Tetteh, the National Ambulance Service (NAS) driver who lost his life in a robbery incident while on duty has been buried.

Tetteh was buried at Tsopoli Saglemi in the Greater Accra Region on Saturday, March 27, 2021.

The burial comes almost two months after Tetteh suffered the unfortunate while transporting a woman in labour.

The pregnant woman had been referred from the Akuse Government Hospital to the Eastern Regional Hospital in Koforidua.

As previously reported by YEN.com.gh, on their way to Koforidua, they bumped into a highway robbery at about 1:00 am on Thursday, February 4.

The robbers shot Tetteh in the head and molested the pregnant woman. Tetteh was rushed to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after the poice arrived on the scene but he could not survive.

A video from Tetteh's funeral has popped up showing he was buried in casket made in the form of the ambulace he was driving.

The video, as sighted by YEN.com.gh, had some men dressed in the uniform of the NAS carrying the ambulance casket of Tetteh in a procession. And it was a sad scene.

In other sad news, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has held a burial ceremony for his wife Lady Julia Osei Tutu's late father, Stephen Asare Amaning.

The burial ceremony came off at Ahodwo-Daban in Kumasi on Saturday, March 27, 2021.

President Nana Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and other leading members of government joined Otumfuo to bury his father-in-law.

Opanin Amaning passed away exactly three weeks ago on March 6.
